Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Theatre At The Scranton Cultural Center - Masonic Temple
All the good stuff! More country music performance! Froggy 101's Guitars & Stars returns to the historic Harry and Jeanette Weinberg theater At The Scranton Cultural Center on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026 for some real country with Nate Smith, Ashley Cooke, Alexandra Kay, Julia Cole & Aaron Watson.
Five Rising Stars share the stories and their biggest hits in this stripped-down guitar pull performance.
Aaron Watson returns to the Main Stage after nearly three years, bringing with him nearly two decades of self-made Texas country music swagger to the club. When he reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums in 2015 with The Underdog, a major feat for a male solo artist, it was clearly no coincidence that he was label-free.
Plus, breakin’ out as a viral sensation with his hit single “Wildfire”, Nate Smith is rolling out his first headlining show. He’ll be joined by breakthrough CMT Breakthrough Female winner Ashley Cooke. Rounding out the lineup are up-and-coming artists Alexandra Kay and Julia Cole.
Entry fee for this show is $62. This show is sponsored by Burke's Gun Shop. See the best compete for glory at this Scranton, PA location.
This special guitar pull style concert presentation is Froggy 101's Guitars & Stars sponsored locally by Burke's Gun Shop. Some of Country Music's hottest stars will take the stage Aaron Watson, Nate Smith, Ashley Cooke, Alexandra Kay and Julia Cole.
Raw, gritty backwoods soul and rock n roll will fill the stage when Nate Smith performs. His 2020 song “Wildfire” became a viral hit on the video app TikTok and brought this relatively unknown singer/songwriter and playeer into the open eyes of the public. Fans will be able to hear some of his biggest hits like “Whiskey on You,” “World on Fire,” and “Bulletproof.”
Florida native Ashley Cooke has quickly become a Scranton favorite. The 23 year old singer and songwriter brings a sweet yet confident voice to well known chart hits like “Your Place” and “I Almost Do” that she wrote herself. Her 2023 album “shot in the dark” shows off her esteemed songwriting abilities.
Alexandra Kay’s powerful and emotive voice shines through on “How Do We Go” and “That’s What Love Is.” Hailing from Illinois, Alexandra Kay has grown a massive following of over 8.6 million followers on TikTok and gained notoriety by posting cover songs.
Country pop artist Julia Cole delivers a unique blend of electronic and country sounds to give a modern twist to country music. Her latest singles “Best Worst Ex,” “Side Piece,” and “Thank God We Broke Up” feature strong female driven lyrics that tell the story of sisterhood, healing, and finding independence and confidence.
You might recognize a few of his hit songs like “Outta Style”, “Run Wild Horses”, or “Freight Train”. Each of these songs including his singles all have topped the Texas Music Chart achieving 7 # 1 singles. Aaron Watson, an Amarillo born and raised artist, made history in 2015 as the first independent male artist to debut at # 1 on Billboard Top Country Albums with “The Underdog”.
