It's time to celebrate Jake Hoot, the country singer-songwriter from Texas who captured America's heart on season 17 of NBC's The Voice back in 2019. We are hoping for a country music chart topping career, and are thinking our dream duet of "I Would've Loved You" with Jake and Kelly Clarkson on The Voice, as well as "Better Off Without You" and his new song "Best Job I Ever Had" from his album Love Out Of Time.

American country music singer-songpoet of international descent, living and born in the Dominican Republic, will be bringing authentic, yet modern country music to the Electric City! You will hear all of his hit songs, including his hit single “I Would’ve Loved You” (featured on Kelly Clarkson’s Nashville Idol), “Better Off Without You” and “Best Job I Ever Had” LIVE, as well as songs from his latest album, Love Out Of Time, where he is growing as an artist. Following his victory in season 9 of The Voice in 2019, Hoot has been making waves in the music industry and has enjoyed huge success, including being invited to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, as well as having 6 of his songs make it into the Top 10 of the iTunes Country Singles Chart, with one of them reaching the #1 spot on the all-genre iTunes Singles Chart. His missionary upbringing and family have had a strong influence on the heartfelt songs he writes and records.

The historic theater is located in the magnificent Mamusical Temple, 420 N. Washington Avenue in downtown Scranton, Pennsylvania. Whether it is the opulent interior, or the imposing exterior, the building is the perfect setting for an evening of music. Eenjoy reserved seating for an up close and personal experience throughout the orchestra and balcony levels. Seating capacity of the theater is 1,800, yet the crowd is intimate and you as a concertgoer are part of the audience. Standard theater concessions are available. Convenient Parking Options Our historic downtown theater is surrounded by multiple convenient parking options. We have on-site parking behind the theater with easy access from Spruce Street or on the corner of Cedar Avenue and North Washington Avenue. The Scranton Parking Authority garage has entrances off of 311 North Washington Avenue, 418 Mulberry Street and 415 Linden Street. Valet parking is available for special events. Street parking and commercial lots are available in the Scranton district with short walks to the theater.
